Handing over of sewing machines

Under the esteemed initiative of the Hon’ble Governor, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, a significant gesture was made towards empowering the community. In a heartfelt endeavor to promote self-reliance and entrepreneurship, the Hon’ble Governor graciously handed over 15 sewing machines to the Self Help Group (SHG) of Ben Phangyong.

This thoughtful act aims to uplift and support the members of the SHG, providing them with the means to generate sustainable livelihoods. By equipping the group with sewing machines, the Hon’ble Governor envisions fostering skill development and economic independence among the members, thereby contributing to the socio-economic progress of the community.
