Repair of Raj Bhavan staff quarters

In a proactive effort to enhance the quality of life for the Raj Bhavan staff residing within its quarters, the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, spearheaded a comprehensive quarter renovation project under the banner of “Raj Bhavan Parisar, Sukhim Parivar.” This initiative was driven by the Governor’s vision to create a conducive and comfortable living environment for the dedicated staff members.

Under this initiative, the Hon’ble Governor personally oversaw the renovation process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship. The project aimed to address various aspects of the quarters, including infrastructure, amenities, and aesthetics, with the overarching goal of enhancing overall livability.

In addition to the renovation efforts, the Hon’ble Governor extended further support to the residents by allocating ten geysers from the Governor’s discretionary fund. This thoughtful gesture was intended to provide additional comfort and convenience, particularly during the colder months, ensuring that the residents could enjoy a more pleasant living experience.
