Introduction

Under the visionary leadership of the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, the journey of “Hamro Sankalp: Viksit Bharat Pushpit Sikkim” commenced, echoing the call of “Viksit Bharat @2047” by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on the completion of the country’s 100th year of independence. With a steadfast commitment to the state’s progress, the Hon’ble Governor initiated this endeavor, integrating various initiatives that harmonize with Sikkim’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.

Raj Bhavan Sikkim hosted a week-long program, the banner of “Hamro Sankalp: Viksit Bharat Pushpit Sikkim” which included the inauguration of the Sikkimese Zen garden, cultural heritage displays, a blood donation camp, cycle rally, health camps, and Swachata Abhiyan. The meticulously curated program by the Hon’ble Governor witnessed enthusiastic participation from the people of Sikkim, who wholeheartedly pledged their contributions towards the vision of a developed India by 2047, as envisioned by the Hon’ble Prime Minister.
