Sahakar Bharati Sikkim State Unit paid a Courtesy Visit to the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim Shri Lakshman Prasad Achaya at Raj Bhavan Gangtok, Sikkim.

The delegation was led by Shri Mangal Jit Rai, the State President of Sahakar Bharati Sikkim.

During the visit, the delegation met with Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, and informed the Hon’ble Governor about their organisation and its working. The Hon’ble Governor appreciated the efforts of Sahakar Bharati in promoting the cooperative movement in the country and emphasized the need for its growth in Sikkim as well.

The delegation also presented a souvenir to the Governor.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Mangal Jit Rai thanked the Governor for his support and guidance and pledged to work towards the growth of the cooperative sector in the state. He also expressed his gratitude to Raj Bhavan for providing them with the opportunity to meet the Governor.

The visit concluded on a positive note, with both parties expressing their commitment to the growth and development of the cooperative sector in Sikkim.
