Today at Lok Bhavan, the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, was paid a courtesy call by the Tibetan Settlement Officer, Shri Jimba Pintso Bhutia, along with the executive members.

On this occasion, the delegation conveyed heartfelt greetings to the Hon’ble Governor on the occasion of Losar festival. The Governor also extended his best wishes to them and to the entire community.

During the meeting, the Hon’ble Governor sought information regarding the activities and other arrangements of the Tibetan community. The officials apprised the Hon’ble Governor of the community’s progress and forth coming plans.

आज लोकभवन में सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर से तिब्बती सेटलमेंट ऑफिसर श्री जिम्बा पिंत्सो भूटिया एवं कार्यकारी सदस्यगण ने शिष्टाचार भेंट की।

प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने इस अवसर पर माननीय राज्यपाल महोदय को लोसार पर्व की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ प्रेषित कीं। राज्यपाल महोदय ने भी उन्हें एवं समस्त समुदाय को मंगलकामनाएँ दीं हैं।

भेंट के दौरान माननीय राज्यपाल ने तिब्बती समुदाय की गतिविधियों, सामाजिक कार्यों एवं अन्य व्यवस्थाओं के संबंध में जानकारी प्राप्त की।
अधिकारियों ने अपने कार्यों की रूपरेखा प्रस्तुत करते हुए समुदाय की प्रगति एवं योजनाओं से माननीय राज्यपाल को अवगत कराया।
